Finding a good bass teacher or instructor is difficult regardless of the cost of taking private lessons. While there are benefits to having a "good" teacher to interact with, it can be much harder to understand the information and ideas being presented than with a visual display teaching system that can show you all information you need to see as you are being talked to and guided through your lessons. Also, a teacher is not a practice companion that you can take home with you like a machine and turn on or off at any time, and control what is played, how fast, etc. Availability, cost over time, the ability to review and study at any time, a practice trainer, all are things to consider in your quest for your bass education and lessons.
